As I look back at the last 2 weeks, and Waves Of Praise, I can only be amazed, astonished, humbled to tears, grateful, thankful..and exhausted. What God Did in Throwing Open the doors was AMAZING! I can’t begin to number the number of times He Came to me and Told me How Pleased He and The Father Are. He Told me it ended up being much larger than I had imagined. It was worth all the nights without sleep, the aching bones, the doing without food for “just a little longer” so I could get the work done. I was denied the time with my children and grandchildren at Christmas, so this praise movement could be accomplished. I know The Lord – He’ll Arrange some special times with them all. What are you willing to do/give up in order to be 100% obedient to The Lord? He REQUIRES ALL.
I’ve been on a marathon of sorts with this. My body is in need of sleep. My heart and mind ready to rest in The LORD this night. Day by day, I would be astonished at what He Was Doing with this movement. I just came through a 24 hour period of almost non-stop “work” – but it was a labor of love for The Lord and our Father. Holy Spirit Guided and Directed me, and Showed me how to accomplish this task. For one person to do this? No. There were MORE. God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, me, Their angels, AND ALL OF YOU! Even when it was finally done, and after 10:00pm on Christmas night, I had to go out in the cold night air and try to find someplace that was open that could make me something to eat. (No – it was NOT a Chinese restaurant like in the movie The Christmas Story.) (And I got to minister while I was there!)
God Gave HIS ONLY Son. Jesus GAVE HIS WHOLE LIFE. They Won’t Accept an hour on Sunday mornings. They Want ALL of us! NOTHING WITHHELD! GIVE HIM YOUR hearts, minds, bodies, thoughts, dreams, desires, everything you are and everything you’re not. Give Him your fears, tears, worries, hurts, grudges, offenses and blaming others. Give Him your time, your possessions, your homes and families and friends. Give Him your pastors and churches. Leave nothing at all in your life that has a name tag attached with your name on it.
He’s Already Shown me some of what’s to come with it next year, and how to plan for it. The magnitude of this blessing…the whole earth praising The Lord for 24 hours? I’ve been at Their Feet so many times….it is an unutterable privilege – no words to describe it. Next year? Oh YES! I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. That’s what The Lord Wants from us…..pouring ourselves out in service to Him…day and night, going without, giving Him every last ounce of ourselves.
Now – rest – JOY – digesting it all, and planning for next year. Good night, world! I’ve been across the whole world today….and are my fingers tired!
